I am a licensed music teacher from Frankfort, Illinois, teaching private in-person and online music and acting lessons. My specialties are all levels of piano and voice, entry level guitar and percussion, audition prep, and theater.
Background
Upon earning my undergraduate degree in Humanities and Music from Illinois State University, I decided to embark on a career in performing arts education. For 22 years I created, developed and taught a large, successful and accomplished choral and musical theater program in Orland Park, IL, while earning my Masters in Music Education degree along the way.
In 2022, I decided to shift my career focus to my home studio, private music students, and building a community based theater program. Over time, I have expanded my roster of students, developing a prolific teaching schedule that I find immensely rewarding, and directing/producing countless theater productions in the southland and beyond. Teaching both children and adults has been a fulfilling and enjoyable journey.
